Amy Perrin Ross, APN, MSN, CNRN, MSCN, a board certified neuroscience nurse, is the Neuroscience Program Coordinator at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. Ms. Ross received her BSN in 1977 and her MSN in 1981 from Loyola University Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, Chicago, IL. In her role as an advance practice nurse, she administrates the multiple sclerosis (MS) clinic at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. She has coordinated many clinical research trials in MS. She is a founding member of the MS Nursing International Certification Board and is a clinical nurse consultant with the National MS Society. She is also past-president of the International Organization of MS Nurses, a board member of the Consortium of MS Centers, and past-president of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses. A well respected expert on nursing issues in MS, Ms. Ross has authored articles and book chapters on cognitive function in MS. She has been active in neuroscience clinical research for over 20 years and is frequently invited to speak at seminars and conferences. She received the Nursing Research Award for excellence in clinical nursing research from the University of Arizona School of Nursing, Tucson, Arizona, in 1983.
